The mission of the task force is to combat the opioid epidemic by implementing, expanding,and retaining the necessary resources to bring prevention, treatment, and recovery support resources to Seneca County. The mission is carried out through collaboration with local, state, and national partners. Projects by the task force have included the PIVOT Recovery Docket, recovery housing, detoxification services, Narcan distribution, medication assisted treatment and most recently the Quick Response Team and the expansion of telehealth services during the COVID 19 pandemic.
