The purposes of the Board is to plan, fund, and evaluate alcohol, drug addiction, and mental health treatment, prevention, education, and consultation services for Logan and Champaign County residents in accordance with Ohio Revised Code and the rules and regulations established by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Service. Hope House is a place where adults can stay as they take their first steps on the path to recovery. The house is staffed 24/7 by medical staff and peer support specialists who offer support and comfort to guide residents through the acute stages of opiate or methamphetamine withdrawal. The Christopher House is a men’s residential treatment program addressing substance use disorder. Treatment length is based upon individual need, but typically runs up to 60 days. Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) provides a harm reduction model of treatment for Opioid and Alcohol Use disorders supported by Mental Health and Substance Abuse counseling.
