Butler County OH Mental Health And Addiction Recovery Services Board. The Mission of the Butler County Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Services Board is to faithfully secure, administer and monitor the public funds provided by the Federal, State and County governments and grants. Additionally, the Board through partnerships, collaboration and the convening of stakeholders will use this funding to support its county providers. These designated programs and services will address prevention, treatment and recovery of Mental and Addiction Health for individuals, families and communities in need of such local services.

The Drug-Free Communities program was launched to equip and empower communities to combat substance abuse in a comprehensive and coordinated manner. Using local student drug use survey data, the Coalition works with partners to reduce youth drug-use & increase resiliency and wellness in the community. Working together to prevent and/or reduce alcohol and marijuana use by youth through collaboration, education and policy change. Reduce the number of youth ages 9-20 using alcohol and marijuana, Strengthen prevention capacity and infrastructure, Infuse resilieny and trauma-informed practices into prevention, Raise awareness of the dangers of youth substance use and abuse, Provide support and training to local communities with and without coalitions, Partner with community stakeholders to create a cross-system impact, and Leverage system-wide data to inform our practices.
